Bio: Hi! I’m Sam and a senior from Mount Laurel, NJ. At Lehigh, I am a part of the IDEAS Program, my degree is theme-based, so I have been focusing on International Environmental Practices and Policies. More recently, how increasing natural disasters are affecting food security and agricultural production, so I spent last summer in Uganda with Professor Austin conducting research on landslides and climate change. I also studied abroad this past spring in Montpellier, France. I learned a ton of French and took a class on Sustainable Agriculture, where I got to visit a goat farm and an oyster farm! I am interested in all things outdoors and have done a ton of backpacking trips through Outing Club. Please reach out if you are interested in IDEAS, Global Studies, or if you want to speak some French.
